Craig Gordon is Vice President, Government and Regulatory Affairs at Invenergy, North America’s largest privately held renewable energy company. The company operates over 7 GWs of generating assets in 19 states and provinces and seven RTOs in North America. It has developed more than 17 GWs of clean, reliable energy since its formation in 2001. Mr. Gordon’s span of responsibilities at Invenergy includes federal and state legislative and regulatory affairs, as well as RTO market rules and policies. From 2016 to 2017, Mr. Gordon led the company’s Regulatory Affairs team, including the RTO markets. Prior to that, Mr. Gordon was Vice President of Sales & Marketing at Invenergy, where he cultivated a sales and strategy team that positioned the company for continued growth in new market areas, including the quickly growing C&I sector. Prior to joining Invenergy in 2010, Mr. Gordon spent over eight years at Ameren in St. Louis, where he honed his experience in risk management, wholesale power trading and marketing, as well as power plant dispatch and renewable energy policy. Mr. Gordon has more than 16 years of experience in the electric power markets. Mr. Gordon has a Bachelor of Science in Geology from Wheaton College in Illinois, and an MBA from the Olin School of Business at Washington University in St. Louis.
